Nokia N82 Black
The Nokia N82 has proved to be one of the most popular handsets released by Nokia in the NSeries range in the last couple of years. Regularly topping sales charts the N82 has proven that top end mobile phones will sell to the masses.
For many years, the term smartphone would put people of buying a handset, when all they really needed from a phone was to make calls and send texts. Nowadays, mobile usage has changed, and people want a phone that will play music, take good pictures, connect to the web, send and receive email, work as a mobile SatNav unit and more… the Nokia N82 is just such a mobile phone.
Nokia, usually ahead of the game, started to drop the smartphone term from their products, instead preferring to call them multimedia computers. Hardly a catch-on term, but it did draw the attention away from ‘smartphone’ and more into the media rich features offered by the NSeries range.
Now Nokia have announced that they will be selling the N82 in black. Black is making a big comeback in mobile phones. From the days when manufacturers moved towards silver, then a multitude of colours such as pink, purple, red or green, the big thing these days seems to be black. All of the recent announced Nokia handsets have been black, the N96, N78, 6210 Navigator and 6220 Classic. Most recent NSeries phones have also had a black version produced, the Nokia N73, N95 with its 8GB version, even going back to the N70, all came out in black.
The Black Nokia N82 is expected to be available to buy soon.
