I gave a talk to a few of my colleagues at lunchtime about social media and its effect on traditional media companies. I had a very broad brief and an audience of mixed experience so I tried not to go into too much detail.

I began with an overview of my Community team because our activities are still a mystery to some within the company. From there I sketched out a rough idea of ‘Web 1.0′, the static, one-to-many precursor to Web 2.0/social media.
