Being a blogger I am also a big fan of pictures and picture search. Although there is no apparent competitor to google image search algorithm  however there is a room for improvment for presentation and style of the photo search. Today I have found a very intresting desktop application named as ginipic to search images from google, yahoo, facebook, flicker , orkut and other related social media. In addition to this ginipic also have its own local library of the pictures. Here is a screenshot of the ginipic in action

No doubt if you a photos lover you will find this application very usefull and an addition to your desktop.
