Telenor Pakistan employees complete CPBM from Lums
LAHORE: April 4 Telenor Pakistan employees completed 18 months long modular certificate programme from the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC), from Lahore University of Management Sciences (Lums). A ceremony was held to award certificates to them here on Friday.
Dean of Lums, Dr Shaukat Brah expressed his views that the program comprised of innovative frameworks created after adopting a business-wide perspective to enable the professionals to master new skills while he was addressing the ceremony, . He said the amalgam of being part of the fastest industry in the country and gaining professional education would go a long way to serve the industry as a whole.
CEO Telenor Pakistan Jon Eddy Abdullah and Vice President Human Capital Division Telenor Pakistan Nayab Baig were also present on this occasion, . CEO Telenor Pakistan Jon Eddy Abdullah said our philosophy is to unlock the hidden human potential by building expertise and by providing an energising environment. “We are interested in finding young talent and equipping them with the competencies that are required in our fast paced industry, he added.
He said CPBM, consisting of 10 modules, was launched in December 2006 first in collaboration with the Rausing Executive Development Centre Lums. He said that the program is unique as it emphasises on exploring the applicability of advanced business techniques in the telecom scenario of Pakistan.- PR 2009
