An ABI Research survey on  mobile features and mobile phone prices among mobile users  of different ages revealed tha fact that respondents in the 40-59 age bracket expected a touchscreen on a US$50 mobile device. In general the young mobile phone users demanded more features like internet, chat, email, touchscreen, designe, sms, wifi etc  but “The older the respondents, the lower their expectations does not matter what price mobile phone is 50$, 100$ or 150$. However surprisingly the older people insisted on the touchscreen feature even at 50$ price. According to research practice director Kevin Burden, “We found the classic 80/20 usage pattern: about 80% of those surveyed used only 20% of the available functions.” PR ABI Research Christine Gallen, +1-516-624-2542 pr@abiresearch.com
