Many of us are using Ipod these days. I am have an IPod touch and I am using it for browsing and music on the go. When I had purchased my IPod I was thinking of how expensive is this but I was wrong when I have found some pictures about iDiamond iPod. The iDiamond iPod shown here is the world most expensive MP3 player and it was put into a chairty auction in London. The iDiamond iPod and accompanying earplugs are made of solid 18 karat white and pink gold and encrusted with 430 diamonds.
Norwegian jeweller Thomas Heyerdahl based the design on the Apple iPod
shuffle and has donated the end result to a charity auction in London.
The worth of this IPod is more than 20,000 GBP mean more than 30 Lakh Pakistani Rupees. It is something very special and there was only one made of this kind so far.

Technology is moving so fast that many things are becoming obsolete and new things are coming up. I still remember those days when I was very happy with my PC and was having the maximum available memory in my Hard disk and that was 20GB. Ooom 20 GB only, yes at that time it was the maximum available and my computer was very fast with windows 95. But now days are gone. Not only this the era of 64MB, 128 MB, 1GB, 2GB and 4GB flash drive is also seems to be an end. These days now we can have 100 times more capacity in in a flash drive as Kingston have already released 256 GB flash drive. 256 GB secure flash drive is named as “Data Traveler 300″. You can password protect your data with the built-in data securing software which works with Windows only. So Mac users will have to use this gadget without the security feature. Data transfer speed is 20MB/sec for reading and 10MB/sec for writing. This gadgets is little expensive for every one at this stage at it cost about 900 USD. A very famous social bookmarking leader digg.com have introduced a URL shortning service like tinyurl.com or cl.gs (URL Shortning with statics) . With digg.com making a short url is relativly very easy as you just have to type your digg.com/ before your url. i.e if i want to make a short url for http://mobizong.com/technology-news/google-chrome-the-fastest-browser-on-the-earth/793 I have to type it like this in my bowser address bar http://digg.com/http://mobizong.com/technology-news/google-chrome-the-fastest-browser-on-the-earth/793 and it will automatically creat a short url http://digg.com/u1Y7d (screenshot shown below click to enlarge)

In contrast to tinyurl.com service digg.com while making your url short add a diggbar or diggtool bar to your url as shown in the above screenshot. This diggbar have some additionl features
1. You can share your url with friend by twitter link, email, or facebook shortcuts on the diggbar
2. You can see the actual url
3. You can see the basic statics i.e how many time your url, or link have been clicked or visited.

Xbox 360 price cuts today?

Rumours abound that Microsoft is on the verge of slashing the price of its Xbox 360 consoles today. According to industry insiders, the price cut would make the entry-level Xbox 360 cheaper than Nintendo’s all-conquering Wii.

It could be just the shot in the arm Microsoft needs to drive European sales of its flagship games machine - its reputation has been battered by problems with some units, and Microsoft backed the wrong horse in the next-generation DVD battle, eventually prompting the company to announce it would stop selling bolt-on HD-DVD drives for its machines.

And with Grand Theft Auto IV hitting European stores on April 29, Microsoft will want to encourage as many people as possible to splash out on an Xbox 360 when they buy the game, expecially as 360 owners will be able to access some exclusive downloadable content in GTA IV.

London pads poles to save those who text while walking

Here comes a perfect example of government who works for people and thinks for its people. We are talking about the London government who has started off the work to pad up al the poles and lamp posts across the city?
Now before you ask the obvious question: Why the hell the government is doin that Let me tell you it’s only for the citizens of the city who keep banging their heads into poles while they are busy text-messaging on their mobile phones! As per statistics 1 out of 10 London texters have broken their heads, thanks to their texting instincts.
Good that the government is so damn concerned about its people, but I guess that’s sheer over pampering. Had this been the case in India, instead of those pads what would have come to the texter’s way was a BIG FINE. And that’s probably the right thing to be done with the careless souls who take pride in doing wrong things at wrong time.

I’m in full agreement with geekologie when they suggest to add sharp spikes to the poles. Atleast that bump in the head will keep them off from texting while walking and get extra cautious on roads or the next feature on the London roads will be nothing but padded cars…for texters bump there as well!
