I am have an IPod touch and I am using it for browsing and music on the go. When I had purchased my IPod I was thinking of how expensive is this but I was wrong when I have found some pictures about iDiamond iPod. The iDiamond iPod shown here is the world most expensive MP3 player and it was put into a chairty auction in London. The iDiamond iPod and accompanying earplugs are made of solid 18 karat white and pink gold and encrusted with 430 diamonds.
Norwegian jeweller Thomas Heyerdahl based the design on the Apple iPod
shuffle and has donated the end result to a charity auction in London.
The worth of this IPod is more than 20,000 GBP mean more than 30 Lakh Pakistani Rupees. It is something very special and there was only one made of this kind so far.
I still remember those days when I was very happy with my PC and was having the maximum available memory in my Hard disk and that was 20GB. Ooom 20 GB only, yes at that time it was the maximum available and my computer was very fast with windows 95. But now days are gone. Not only this the era of 64MB, 128 MB, 1GB, 2GB and 4GB flash drive is also seems to be an end. These days now we can have 100 times more capacity in in a flash drive as Kingston have already released 256 GB flash drive. 256 GB secure flash drive is named as “Data Traveler 300″. You can password protect your data with the built-in data securing software which works with Windows only. So Mac users will have to use this gadget without the security feature. Data transfer speed is 20MB/sec for reading and 10MB/sec for writing. This gadgets is little expensive for every one at this stage at it cost about 900 USD. But I guess soon it will be in a well price range. Link to Kingston Office Site

A very famous social bookmarking leader digg.com have introduced a URL shortning service like tinyurl.com or cl.gs (URL Shortning with statics) . With digg.com making a short url is relativly very easy as you just have to type your digg.com/ before your url. i.e if i want to make a short url for http://mobizong.com/technology-news/google-chrome-the-fastest-browser-on-the-earth/793 I have to type it like this in my bowser address bar http://digg.com/http://mobizong.com/technology-news/google-chrome-the-fastest-browser-on-the-earth/793 and it will automatically creat a short url http://digg.com/u1Y7d (screenshot shown below click to enlarge)

In contrast to tinyurl.com service digg.com while making your url short add a diggbar or diggtool bar to your url as shown in the above screenshot. This diggbar have some additionl features
1. You can share your url with friend by twitter link, email, or facebook shortcuts on the diggbar
2. You can see the actual url
3. You can see the basic statics i.e how many time your url, or link have been clicked or visited.
4. Digg.com automatically make short url for links digged by digg.com users

According to industry insiders, the price cut would make the entry-level Xbox 360 cheaper than Nintendo’s all-conquering Wii.

It could be just the shot in the arm Microsoft needs to drive European sales of its flagship games machine - its reputation has been battered by problems with some units, and Microsoft backed the wrong horse in the next-generation DVD battle, eventually prompting the company to announce it would stop selling bolt-on HD-DVD drives for its machines.

And with Grand Theft Auto IV hitting European stores on April 29, Microsoft will want to encourage as many people as possible to splash out on an Xbox 360 when they buy the game, expecially as 360 owners will be able to access some exclusive downloadable content in GTA IV.

If that Saturday night party and the Sunday outing has left you with an upset mind and no energy to hit Monday, you need some time to relax and here comes a device to help you soothe your senses.
Here comes a device called LTK-2000 Therapy Station that ensures a comprehensive environment solution for your eyes, nose and ears, with a combination of light, sound and aroma therapy.

Coming from Korea, the gadget starts the relaxing program with 24 relaxing sounds ranging between “concentration” to “therapy for depression” to calm your mind and fill you with energy to face the new day.
After relaxing your ears, it starts the process with your eyes with the a ring of bright blue eyes, which pops out of the device to provide them 5,000 lux of light therapy.
Following this comes the turn of your nose. Smels work wonders when it comes to soothing mind. And an array of aroma oils comes at your service with its herbal aroma cartridges that are popped at the top of the unit.
Last but not the least, to give you an over all effect the system also purifies the air that you are breathing thanks to its inbuilt anion generator.
Now, that’s what we call relaxation at its best. If you are game to feel the relaxing magic…get home the LTK-2000, which is on sale at Enfran for $395.

I dunno why but these days I’m getting into the eco-friendly mode. Whatever I do or buy seems getting influenced by the eco-friendly mantra. So as a part of the spree, my next buy will definitely be these Eco-Speakers, which are made with recycled material…which means they make their share of saving the environment. And once we use them, we’ll make our contribution to the good cause. A product of Fashionation, these speakers are not just good for the environment but also for your pocket as the price tag read a reasonable figure of $15. As far as the look is concerned, they are cutely small, light in weight and are available in a wide range of zingy colours and a variety of shapes. And the best feature is that you can fold them flat and adjust in the smallest of spaces that you have. Coming to the power, they derive it from your iPod or PC, so don’t require any separate battery. In short these are a great music machine that’s pocket friendly and environment friendly at the same time!

Here comes a perfect example of government who works for people and thinks for its people. We are talking about the London government who has started off the work to pad up al the poles and lamp posts across the city?
Now before you ask the obvious question: Why the hell the government is doin that Let me tell you it’s only for the citizens of the city who keep banging their heads into poles while they are busy text-messaging on their mobile phones! As per statistics 1 out of 10 London texters have broken their heads, thanks to their texting instincts.
Good that the government is so damn concerned about its people, but I guess that’s sheer over pampering. Had this been the case in India, instead of those pads what would have come to the texter’s way was a BIG FINE. And that’s probably the right thing to be done with the careless souls who take pride in doing wrong things at wrong time.

I’m in full agreement with geekologie when they suggest to add sharp spikes to the poles. Atleast that bump in the head will keep them off from texting while walking and get extra cautious on roads or the next feature on the London roads will be nothing but padded cars…for texters bump there as well!

Here comes the time to chuck out those old chargers no matter they run on electricity or solar energy that keeps you dependent on the source of power, sun or something else. Why we are being so bad is for the simple reason that we have got something better- the kinetic charger, which is fueled by the energy generated by your movement. Yes, the kinetic charger is like an anklet that can be worn around your ankle and as and when you move your leg the charger gets charged to fuel your gadgets.
Must say an interesting and cool concept! Now you just need to shake a leg to charge your gadget…best for those who hit the floor every now and then. Their gadgets will never run out of battery!

It won’t be justified to call a week spent at Hingarae residences as just a vacation, as every single minute that you spend living at your own 2153-square-foot villa at the Hingarae Residences and Resort on Lake Taupo in northern New Zealand, will be enriched with utmost luxury, extreme technological advancements, soothing and futuristic to the hilt.
The reference here is to a new extraordinarily planned community to be built by the end of this year. A futuristic concept, living where will give you a glimpse of a life that’s guarded with nothing but technologically supported unique designer concepts.

A brainchild of X Pace, Sydney based design studio, the residency will comprise of 28 fully furnished “modules”. On one hand, each abode will take you into a living space that touches base with hi-tech architectures like revolving floors to give you a choice to pick the scenery that you want to see from the gigantic windows surrounding you. While, on the other it they will also take you close to nature as the windows open into lavish greenery stretched upto 2.5 acres of natural green landscape.
What comes to you as a part and parcel of living in this ultimate destination for luxurious living include an electric car for all on-site traveling, personal use of Hingarae’s premium luxury 4WD vehicles for off-site travel, shared use of Hingarae’s motor launch and unlimited access to the 6 Star Hotel Hingarae.
The most modern architecture of the world, will come to you (if at all it comes to most of us) for $1.9 million, which includes a free reign over a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, an on-call helicopter and a fully-equipped recording studio. Hmm…If ever I get to be there all I would say is…It’s better than what I had ever dreamt for my dream home!
